Sea Bass in Santa Monica

Mom and I had some time to kill on our LA trip. So we took a bus to Santa Monica. Our public transit experience was quite an adventure. Santa Monica was great. There was no shortage of interesting people and things to look at.

We had lunch at a restaurant called "Lobster". The sea bass was delicious. The people watching was great. Mom saw the Food Network president. This was the view from our table.

Braces for Bug

Buglet got braces this summer. She was pretty excited. The pain and newness have worn off. Here's a before pic of her as "Destiny" at her 11th b-day party.

Girls' Engineering Camp

Wewen recently went to a girls' engineering camp. On the last day, families were invited to see what the girls accomplished during the week. What a treat! Here is a video of the robot that Wewen and her partner created. They named the robot after Momo, who also likes to dance to "Dynamite!"

First Official Post!!!

My first post on my first blog! For most people, this doesn't sound like much of a feat. For me, this is HUGE! While I cannot promise frequent, intriguing and exciting posts with pictures, videos and links, this will be my lofty goal! : )
